Jhene Aiko shares new song “Sun/Son”.
Jhene Aiko returns to the music scene as she drops a brand new song titled “Sun/Son”. The track was first announced in November in celebration of the first birthday of her son Noah Hasani, first baby with rapper Big Sean.
“Waited awhile, don’t know where you was (Where you was) / I prayed out loud and then there you were / Face to the clouds like a ray of love (Ray of love) / No doubt about it, you charge me up, you charge me up (Sun son, sun son) / My solar power, I’m so in love (Sun son, sun son) / You charge me up, you charge me up (Sun son, sun son) / My solar power, I’m so in love (Sun son, sun son),” she sings.
This follows up her last year’s offerings “Alive & Well” and “Calm & Patient”. Aiko last released a project was in 2020, when she dropped her third studio album “Chilombo”. Chilombo debuted at number number two on the US Billboard 200 chart, moving over 152,000 album-equivalent units in the first week.
