French Montana drops a new track “If I Go Down”.
French Montana continues putting out new material as he releases a brand new single called “If I Go Down”. It is a contribution to the soundtrack of the upcoming Sports Drama film called “National Champions”. The film is directed by Ric Roman Waugh, It is based on the play of the same name by Adam Mervis and stars Stephan James, J. K. Simmons, Alexander Ludwig, Lil Rel Howery and more. The Sports Drama is scheduled to release on December 10th.
French Montana is coming off the heels of his new album “They Got Amnesia“, which featured John Legend, Rick Ross, Lil Durk, Doja Cat, Saweetie, Ty Dolla Sign, Lil Tjay and more.
The 20-track album, which he refers to as his “greatest work,” has collaborations with Ty Dolla $ign and Latto (“Striptease”) and Doja Cat and Saweetie (“Handstand”), the latter of which samples Big Pun’s “It’s So Hard.” Moneybagg Yo also makes an appearance on the bonus track, a remix to “FWMGAB.”
His duet with Drake, “Splash Brothers,” was initially on the tracklist, but it will now be included on the deluxe edition. Drake apparently opted to postpone the release in the aftermath of the Astroworld disaster.
