Cordae shares a new song “Multi-Platinum”.
Cordae makes his return to the music scene as he unleashes a brand new track called “Multi-Platinum” which is produced by Kid Culture. The rapper tells a story about new artists in the industry, who end up killing themselves.
“The memories, they all start to compile / Remember his father, he’d tell you more, but why even bother / He was a monster, touched on his sister, beat on his momma / Still dealin’ with this childhood trauma while on his tour / Signed for five albums, one million dollars, but wanted more / Dishonest lawyers and terrible managers made him sure / That everything was okay, but we heard this story before,” he raps.
The song comes on the third anniversary of his debut album “The Lost Boy“. “My first born turns 3 today. I’ve been through so much since this album came out,” he wrote.

This is his first new music since dropping his latest album “From A Bird’s Eye View” which was released back in January.
Although he’s had success with his albums and gained admiration from the greats, like many of his colleagues, Cordae claimed that he’s been having some trouble putting out new songs. “I’m trying to drop this mixtape, man, so I had to butter up my A&R and get him on a jet in the air right now,” Cordae said at the end of June. “I’m trying to drop music, man. What we doing?”
