Chloe & Chris Brown connects on “How Does It Feel”.
Chloe is back with more new music as she teams up with Chris Brown for her new single “How Does It Feel”. The song is produced by Hitmaka & Cardiak, and it arrives with a music video with direction from Arrad. This follows up Chloe’s previous single “Pray It Away“, and will appear on her upcoming album “In Pieces”.
“I made you drop it on a Tuesday / I had the popcorn poppin’, we made a movie / So many feelings involved, the way you do me / Tell me, you ready or not? This ain’t The Fugees,” sings Brown.
“You are a beautiful soul… TAKE OVER THE WORLD SHAWTY and DONT LOOK BACK! YOU ARE A QUEEN! DONT LET NOBODY TELL YOU NO DIFFERENT! You followed your dreams and now the universe is fulfilling that manifestation,” wrote Chris Brown for Chloe under her IG post. “Can’t wait for the world to hear the magic we created,” she responds.
Bailey’s recent announcement of a collaboration with Brown has sparked controversy, with many questioning why she chose to work with someone who has a well-documented history of abusing women. The news triggered a heated online debate, which resulted in Brown clashing with Kiely Williams, a former member of 3LW and Cheetah Girls, on Twitter. “Let him come out with his own record—so genius, so captivating that it makes us all forget HE BEATS WOMEN. He can’t so he wont. So what does he do?” Williams wrote in response to Bailey’s announcement. “He slowly creeps back into the mainstream by getting small nods for features on Black Women’s merit. Black women who are more talented, more worthy, but give him the okay.”
