Wiz Khalifa Drops "Rolling Papers" 10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition

Wiz Khalifa drops “Rolling Papers” deluxe edition feat Nipsey Hussle, Snoop Dogg & more.

It’s been 10 years since Wiz Khalifa released his debut album “Rolling Papers” (third overall) under a major label through Atlantic Records and Rostrum Records. The project was released on March 29, 2011, and the Taylor Gang boss decided to celebrate it with the release of a deluxe edition for it.

The new version contains 4 additional tracks, making it a total of 18 tracks. It contains new features from the late Nipsey Hussle, Snoop Dogg, Juicy J, T-Pain, and more. Last month, Wiz Khalifa released a new Taylor Gang compilation mixtape “Taylor Nights” along with a video for “Millions” featuring A Boogie wit da Hoodie.

Wiz and his team have released a limited edition green vinyl and a “Waken Baken” T-shirt to commemorate the timely achievement. The re-release also includes four bonus tracks: “Black & Yellow (Remix)” featuring Snoop Dogg, Juicy J, and T-Pain, “Stoned,” “Taylor Gang,” and “Middle Of You” featuring Woods, Nikkiya, and Pooh Bear. Finally, one of the original cuts, “Hoops & Dreams,” now features an unreleased verse from the late Nipsey Hussle, which was reportedly cut due to clearance issues.

Khalifa’s most recent official album, Rolling Papers 2, was released in 2018 and debuted at number two, similar to its predecessor, earning a Gold plaque. Since then, Wiz Khalifa has released a slew of projects, including The Saga of Wiz Khalifa, It’s Only Weed Bro, Big Pimpin, #FUCC2020, and Taylor Nights, among others.

The original album was released on March 29, 2011, and it debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, selling 276,000 copies in its first week – before streaming! The album was certified 2x platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and has over 1.7 billion streams globally.

Fans believe Wiz is the inspiration for the ‘Chameleon’ persona, who is presently competing in season 5 of Masked Singer. Chameleon’s rendition of Nelly’s “Ride Wit Me” last week sounded uncannily similar, and the majority of Twitter is certain it’s the “We Dem Boyz” rapper. However, he is still safe on the programme, so it has yet to be verified.
