Rod Wave drops the “SoulFly” deluxe version.

After giving us “Time Heals” a few days ago, Rod Wave has officially dropped the deluxe version of his latest album “SoulFly“. The original project was released back in March, which earned his first-ever Billboard 200 #1 with moving over 130k equivalent units in the first week. SoulFly was the most pre-saved album on Apple Music for a two-week period.

The album which previously had 19 records, now comes with an addition of 9 new songs, making it a 28-track album. The new version features guest appearances from Kodak Black on “Get Ready” and Lil Durk on “Already Won”.

The Sunshine State rapper/singer wrestles with anger and grief over piano-laced music on “Time Heals,” which was produced by The Superiors & Co., MalikOTB, DKeyz, and MarsGawd. Rod is steadfast despite the weight on his shoulders: “No, I won’t cry ’bout it, I can’t cry ’bout it/Heal my agony, I pull up in a new wide-body,” he sings.

Meanwhile, the Yawn Rico-directed video chronicles Rod Wave’s jet-setting lifestyle as he performs on venues throughout the country, flosses a new set of grills, and collaborates with Kodak Black on the “Before I Go” music video.

In June, Rod Wave announced that he would be embarking on a tour organized by Rolling Loud, the company behind the popular music festivals of the same name. The tour is set to begin in August in Houston, Texas and will run until October, ending in Seattle, Washington.
