Joell Ortiz & KXNG Crooked new project ‘H.A.R.D. ” feat MRK SX & Blakk Soul.
After giving us ‘Memorial Day‘ last week, Joell Ortiz and KXNG Crooked continue releasing new material as they drop their new joint project called ‘H.A.R.D.‘. The project contains 10 records with guest appearances from MRK SX and Blakk Soul. Production is handled by Ill Mind, Heatmakerz, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, and more.
“This “H.A.R.D” project is an audio painting from me and my brother Crook. We share similar stories in both life and the music business. The common denominator being the struggle. We take u on a ride over production from Heatmakerz, ILL Mind, J.U.S.T.I.C.E League, Apollo Brown, Erick Sermon, and more!! I suggest you put on your headphones and close your eyes for this one.” Joell Ortiz commented.
Crooked added, “All of this sh*t was meant to happen. 2020 has been rough for a lot of people so I’m glad we can bless the culture with high art. One of my favorite things about this EP is the fact that I got to hang out with Fred the Godson during the creative process. I don’t think Joell would mind me speaking for him when I say this EP is dedicated to the loving memory of Fred. Hope y’all f**k with it.” Fred the Godson passed away in late April after contracting COVID-19.
