E-40 drops “Practice Makes Paper” album feat Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa & others.

After giving us Roody Ricch, Quavo, ASAP Ferg & ScHoolboy Q assisted ‘Chase The Money‘ last month, E-40 continues releasing new material as the Bay Area legend drops his new album ‘Practice Makes Paper‘ which is a follow up to his last year’s ‘The Gift of Gab‘.

The new album contains 26 tracks with guest appearances from Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa, Rick Ross, Method Man, Redman, Fabolous, and more.

E-40 sticks to his signature Bay sound and lyrical technique, which has defined him for decades. He’s able to diversity the music enough with contemporary productions and beats that are now sweeping the airwaves, while also generating an album that isn’t overly repetitive. The massive features are virtually a celebration of rap and hip hop, as these performers share the stage on an album delivered by a great. Take a listen to Practice Makes Paper and let us know which tracks you like best.

E-40’s follow-up to 2018’s lean, 38-minute The Gift of Gab is a massive double album. While that album was laser-focused on the funk-influenced sounds that 40 is known for, Paper is far more ambitious, inviting artists from all over the world to get hyphy. There are bonafide talents like Quavo of Migos, Wiz Khalifa, Rick Ross, and TDE’s ScHoolboy Q on the guest list, as well as Houston City Council contender Scarface. With G-Eazy, Ty Dolla $ign, Iamsu! from HBK, and Roddy Ricch, a 20-year-old Compton MC, the West Coast is well-represented, while Detroit (Tee Grizzley, Payroll Giovanni, and Sada Baby) and New York (Fabolous, Method Man, and A$AP Ferg) are also well-represented.
