Listen to Juice WRLD’s new posthumous album “Fighting Demons”.
After teasing it for quite some time, the new posthumous project from Juice WRLD is finally here. Juice WRLD team has dropped the new album called “Fighting Demons”, a follow up to his last year’s posthumous effort “Legends Never Die“. The album contains the recently released single “Wandered To LA” featuring Justin Bieber.
Following the very first Juice WRLD Day, which was hosted at the United Center in Chicago and live streamed for fans all over the world, Fighting Demons debuts two days after the untimely loss of Juice WRLD two years ago. To celebrate the life and contributions of the rapper, Juice WRLD Day was developed in collaboration with the Live Free 999 Foundation.
Juice WRLD’s mother Carmela Wallace wrote a moving tribute to her son on what would have been his 23rd birthday, describing the profound influence he had on society. “When you were born 23 years ago, I never expected that you would not to be here today celebrating your birthday,” Carmela’s letter reads. “Although it has been nearly two years since you’ve been gone, I still think about you every day and losing you has changed my life forever. I’m glad that we always made sure that we said goodbye when we left each other because we didn’t know when we would see each other again.”
The album contains 18 records, with additional guest appearances from BTS’ Suga on “Girl of My Dreams”, Polo G and Trippie Redd on “Feline”. The album also features an appearance from Eminem, who gives a tribute speech for Juice WRLD. Eminem also made an appearance on last year’s “Legends Never Die” project.
“I can take one Percocet, start tonight off, I just took a 60 / Burberry on me, shoot you in your back, you just got Pretty Ricky / I tie the Chanel runners then I get back to running the city / And I know that it’s hell coming, I ain’t worried, my ni**as, they with me,” Juice WRLD raps on the first track “Burn”.
