Hit-Boy unleashes new project “Surf Or Drown”.
After announcing it last week, Hit-Boy has released his brand new album “Surf Or Drown”. The project includes previously released songs “Slipping Into Darkness” with The Alchemist and “The Tide“ with assistance from his go-to collaborator Nas.
The full album contains 11 tracks, with additional guest appearances from Dom Kennedy, Jay 305 on “State Champ”, Dom Kennedy on “CORSA”, Currensy on “Tony Fontana III”, Devin Morrison on “NU.WAV”, James Fauntleroy, C3 on “MTR” and more.
Additionally, the project features instrumental versions of each track, and the multi-platinum producer Hit-Boy has encouraged other artists to record their own songs and submit them to him.
For “Surf or Drown,” Hit-Boy primarily worked on the production by himself, with some assistance from The Alchemist, G-Ry, Corbett, Peter Lee Johnson, and Jesse Blum.
