Cordae releases a new project “Just Until….” feat. Q-Tip & Young Thug.
Last month, Cordae has revealed that his upcoming album is almost done and while we wait for it, something else is dropping soon. Keeping up the announcement, Cordae has now dropped a new EP called “Just Until….“. The short project contains 4 tracks with guest appearances from Q-Tip and Young Thug.
On July 26, 2019, Cordae released his debut album “Lost Boy“. It was later nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album at the 2020 Grammys. The song “Bad Idea” from the album was also nominated for Best Rap Song. Chance the Rapper, Anderson .Paak, Ty Dolla Sign, Pusha-T, and Meek Mill were among the artists featured on Lost Boy.
Cordae collaborates with a diverse group of rhymers on two of the four tracks. On the first track, “More Life,” he collaborates with A Tribe Called Quest frontman Q-Tip, before connecting with Young Thug on “Wassup” a few minutes later. It follows the rapper as he returns to his former neighbourhood, middle school, and the college from which he dropped out.
Cordae, a prominent advocate for justice and equality, was arrested in Louisville, Kentucky last July while marching for justice in the name of Breonna Taylor alongside rapper Trae Tha Truth and a number of other community leaders.
