Yelawolf releases a video for “Rocks At Your Window”.
Yelawolf continues giving us new visuals every day as he drops the music video for his song called “Rocks At Your Window”. It is his sixth video of the week, following “Dope“, “Conoco“, “Light As A Feather“, “Oh No” and “Bounce”. He is dropping videos in the order they appeared on his latest project “Mud Mouth“. We can expect 8 more videos as it looks like the Alabama rapper will share one for all the songs off his project.
Just like the other tracks, this one is also produced by Jim Jonsin and the video is directed by Patrick Tohill. In the song, he pays tribute to fellow Alabama rapper Shawty Fatt who died in a car accident in 2016 at the age of 32.
Yelawolf begins his first line by reminiscing about his time spent with Shawty, “Got the Chevy on the highway/ Sun shinin’ and the summer rain’s comin’ down/ Comin’ down/ Lookin’ back on good times/ You and me, we was on the way/ Small town with our names in the marquee now. The song is accompanied with an emotive musical composition that perfectly complements the message that the rapper is attempting to express.
