Big Sean drops the “Wolves” video.
Big Sean continues releasing new material as he teams up with Post Malone for the official visual for their single called “Wolves“. The song serves as the latest single off his latest album ‘Detroit 2‘.
Big Sean and Hit-Boy have been friends since the days of G.O.O.D. Music. Because of this connection, Hit-Boy was able to executive produce D2, resulting in songs like “Wolves.”
Sean and Hit-Boy have been inseparable since the release of Detroit 2, with the rapper participating on multiple Hit-produced tracks, including Benny the Butcher’s Burden of Proof and Nas’ King’s Disease. Sean also participated in Freddie Gibbs’ new single “4 Thangs” (also produced by Hit-Boy) and assisted Hit-Boy in his return to the studio for the producer/current rapper’s track “Salute,” featuring Fivio Foreign.
The bizarre movie shows night-soaked shots of a metropolis, a red moon hanging over the horizon, and silver individuals in police uniforms, alluding to George Lucas’ 1971 film “THX 1138.” “I was raised by the wolves, ate ’til they full/Run through the night, playin’ with your life,” the duo rap. “Go against the pack, that’s risking your life/Better play it right, yeah, you better play it right.”
