50 Cent drops a new song “Part of the Game”.
After teasing it a few days ago, 50 Cent and NLE Choppa has released their new collaboration called “Part of the Game“. 50 Cent revealed that it is the theme song for his upcoming show ‘Raising Kanan‘, one of the POWER spin-off. Listen to the song below which also features Rileyy Lanez.
Despite the fact that the song is unmistakably upbeat, 50’s new verse keeps everything grounded Saw you over there, n***a you ain’t no one. I don’t f**k with you until you felt the vibe, felt the vibe. I’m movin’ round with this heater with me, and I’m dyin’ to fight. That’s pure facts. That sucker sh*t, I don’t like that sucker sh*t. Boy you out from clip to clip you don’t know who you f**kin’ with.
It’s not every day that we receive new music from 50 Cent, but when the opportunity arises to cross-promote one of the many shows he produces, you can bet he’ll take advantage of it. Over some deep East Coast production, 50 Cent returns to his hustler crap while trading verses with Choppa.
Raising Kanan, which follows the early years of Kanan Stark, a character who would later be played by 50 Cent on the original Power series, has yet to be given a definitive release date in 2021. 50 will just serve as executive producer on the Kanan-centered spinoff, but as a clever businessman, he understands that nothing gets fans excited about the introduction of another addition to the Power extended universe like some new song from 50.
Starz announced in September that the first Power spinoff Ghost had been ordered for a second season, just three weeks after the series premiered to 7.5 million viewers, making it the most-watched new series in Starz history. “I knew there would be many layers to the success of the Power universe when I got the idea to develop it, and I am delighted the fans agree,” 50 said in a statement. “I’m excited to release Power Book III: Raising Kanan and Power Book IV: Force as soon as possible.”
