Snoop Dogg performs “Nuthin’ But A G Thang” with Shaq.
This past weekend, the basketball legend Shaquille O’ Neal, held a fundraiser event in Las Vegas through his foundation. The star-studded event was in support of Boys & Girls Clubs and schools. At the show, Snoop Dogg was also one of the performers, who performed his song “Beautiful”, followed by 1992 classic “Nuthin’ But A G Thang”. For the performance of “The Chronic” album record, Snoop Dogg brought out Shaq to do Dr. Dre’s part.
“I wanna do something real special right now,” said Snoop Dogg. “I wanna bring out somebody that means a lot to me. One of my dear friends who I feel like we got in at the same time. We been doing the same things lately and he’s the man of the night. So if you don’t mind, we gon’ do something special for y’all. Never before, never seen, Snoop Dogg and Shaq. Let’s go.”

The show also had live performances from Imagine Dragons, Andra Day, Justin Bieber, Kelly Clarkson, and more. After the event, Shaquille acknowledged everyone for making his foundation’s first event a success.
Recently, it was announced that Snoop Dogg will join Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Dr. Dre, and Kendrick Lamar for a performance at the NFL Super-Bowl Halftime show in February next year. The West Coast legend is currently working on a new project “Algorithm” which is slated to release in November.

Shaquille O’Neal paid tribute to Kobe Bryant with a freestyle over Dr. Dre’s “Bi*ches Ain’t Sh*t” in 2020, comparing their relationship to that of Diddy and Biggie, as well as Snoop Dogg and Dre. “One Black Mamba and onе Black Gorilla,” he rapped on the song. “Who realer than me? Realer than he? You can say Magic and Kareem or Mike and Scottie P/We was like Puff and B.I.G./We was like Snoop and D.R.E./You can’t say Kobe without sayin’ me/I can’t believe we ain’t got more than three.”
