JAY-Z, DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross & John Legend Performs God Did At Grammys 2023

JAY-Z returns to the Grammy stage for the “God Did” performance.

The 65th annual Grammy Awards took place earlier tonight at Crypto Arena, which featured a highly anticipated performance from none other than JAY-Z. Hov linked up with DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, John Legend and Fridayy for a performance of their collab “God Did“, which appeared on Khaled’s latest album of the same name.

Khaled kicked off the performance through the Grammy stage, then went on onto the streets where the rest of the rappers were sitting at a dinner table. The group performed the long 8-minute track, which featured JAY-Z’s fan favourite 4-minute long verse.

The hit song “God Did” features a star-studded lineup of some of hip-hop’s most prominent artists. Jay-Z, known for his infrequent live performances, leads the way with a record of 88 Grammy nominations (tied with his wife Beyoncé) and 24 wins. Legend, a Grammy award-winning artist, has received 36 nominations and 12 wins. Lil Wayne, with 5 Grammy wins and 27 nominations, is a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. DJ Khaled, who has won one Grammy and received 10 nominations, is also part of the lineup. Rick Ross has received 9 Grammy nods, and Fridayy received his first three nominations for his work on the song.
