Jack Harlow lights up the stage at BET Awards with surprise guests Lil Wayne & Brandy.
The 2022 BET Awards aired earlier tonight live from the LOS Angeles Microsoft Theatre, with nominations dominated by Doja Cat, Drake and Ari Lennox. Jack Harlow was one of the star performers at this year’s event, and the rapper made headlines by wearing a Lil Nas X shirt, in support of the “Montero” artist who was snubbed by the BET. Earlier this week, Lil Nas X linked up with NBA Youngboy for a BET Diss track “Late To Da Party“.

Harlow approached the stage with backup dancers as he entered his second and last song of the night, “First Class,” which made its debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 list back in April. Before bringing out a surprise guest, Brandy for her “First Class” freestyle, he played the song nearly entirely alone.
At the event, Jack Harlow performed his songs “Poison” and “First Class”, bringing out surprise guests Lil Wayne and Brandy. The songs appeared on his recent album “Come Home The Kids Miss You“.
Come Home the Kids Miss You, Harlow’s second studio album, was released in May. On the Billboard 200 list, the album opened at No. 3. Along with Drake, Future, J. Cole, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, and Lil Baby, he is a nominee for the best male hip-hop artist.
Harlow and Brandy recently indulge into an online beef after the Louisville rapper revealed that he didn’t know she’s Ray J’s sister in an interview with Ebro Darden, Laura Stylez, and Peter Rosenberg on Hot 97. When the clip went viral on social media, Brandy herself responded and wrote, “I will murk this dude in rap at 43 on his own beats and then sing is a*s to sleep,” and then went on to release a freestyle over “First Class” beat.
