Young M.A Talked About Working with Eminem He Was Very Humble As I Expected

Young M.A talks about working with Eminem.

Eminem who released his latest album ‘Music To Be Murdered By‘ earlier this year, had a surprise appearance from the upcoming female rapper Young M.A. She assisted Eminem on the track called ‘Unaccommodating‘ which is one the most streamed and fan-favorite from the project.

Young M.A did her first-ever Instagram Q&A, where she talked about working with Eminem. “Oh man, that was a different vibe right there.” said Young M.A. “I didn’t meet him in person. I did the record in the studio by myself, he sent me the record. I actually spoke to Eminem on the phone prior to doing the record. His team reached out to my team, my team told me and then we set up a call and I actually spoke to him on the phone. And Eminem was very humble, as I expected. I expected nothing more than that. I didn’t expect him to be such a big fan of what I’m doing. I was always a big fan of Eminem growing up. He is one of my top 5. So to hear him actually telling me I’m one of his favorite rappers just made me realize how much I’d been doing and how good I’d been doing. And just made me motivated.

After being asked which fresh musicians have impressed him, Eminem signed YBN Cordae and Young M.A. She was referenced on his album Music to Be Murdered By, and he also cited Griselda (of course), but this is the first time Cordae has been acknowledged.

Young M.A continued, “So I did the record, the record was fire. Though I did the record, I did the verse before I heard his verse. And I told myself, ‘Why would you go that crazy?’ He never had a verse on that first, he sent me a beat and I did my song just to see where it go and then he put his verse on that and then I heard the record. I did wanna change something because I heard his but he was like, ‘Nah, I love it’ and I was like, ‘You know, it is what it is, I f*ck with it.’ You know, like first called, first served type shit. Hopefully, in the future, we’ll be able to do more records. But I’m satisfied with the record, I love the record. Shout out to Em, man, I just appreciate him even write me on his album, that’s just the blessing in itself, just being a big fan of his. It’s just crazy.” Eminem also talked about his collaboration with Young M.A in his recent interview with KXNG Crooked on ‘Crook’s Corner’.
