White Boy Rick is honored to have Eminem play him on 50 Cent’s BMF show.
As announced previously, Eminem appeared on 50 Cent’s Starz show “Black Mafia Family” for a short cameo on the 7th episode. The episode which is now scheduled to drop on November 14th was released last week but got taken down later. However, the short Eminem cameo already surfaced online, which showed him portray Richard Wershe Jr. aka White Boy Rick.
Richard Wershe Jr. was an FBI informant in his early teens when he sold drugs and guns as part of a Detroit gang. Later he was dumped by the feds at 17 and arrested for cocaine possession. He was sentenced to life in prison, but eventually paroled and released in June 2020, at the age of 50.

After the episode was taken down, 50 Cent showed his disappointment as it was directed by himself, and also acknowledged Eminem. “Episode 7 of BMF is the best work i have done directing to date. I’m disappointed that STARZ handled this so poorly. I used my personal relationships to make things happen they couldn’t have made happen. @eminem thank you for doing this for me. I love you bro, you know i’m rolling wit you till the wheels fall off,” wrote 50 Cent.

Vladtv now reached out to the real White Boy Rick to ask his reaction to the Detroit Rapper portraying him. “Eminem is awesome! And it was an honor! Detroit,” he said in a written statement.
A couple of months ago, TMZ reached out to Richard after the news of Eminem playing him first announced. “It’s Eminem, so that’s an honor to have him portray me in a series,” he said. “I don’t think I’ve to tell him [Eminem] anything at all, he’s professional. Everything he does he does very well. I mean his music speaks for itself. He’s an icon, he’s a legend. This for him would be a small thing. I think he’ll kill it, whatever he does man. I am a fan, it’s an honor to have him do it. He’s a Detroit legend, I have a huge name here. So from one Detroiter to another, you know, just kill it.”
BMF will air on Starz on September 26 and will follow the narcotics and money laundering organisation Black Mafia Family, which was created in 1989 in Detroit by brothers Demetrius “Big Meech” and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory.
