Westside Boogie reveals his album is in the final stages.
Last year, Westside Boogie revealed that he played his new album to Eminem, and the rapper received the green signal from the Shady Records boss. It’s been around one year since then, the Compton rapper is yet to kick off the campaign for the project, a follow up to 2019’s “Everythings For Sale“. The rapper is now back with another update for the project, as he states that it’s on the final stage.
“Final stages..y’all irritated I know but I love y’all,” he wrote with a picture of Eminem.
In a recent interview with HNHH, Boogie shared details of his upcoming album. “No, this whole process has been Boogie versus Boogie. I think Everythings For Sale was so good, I just want to make sure,” he said. “Yeah, I’m a perfectionist. I know everybody like, over-uses that word, but I really am a perfectionist. And I won’t put it out unless I believe in it all the way, now I’m finally at a space to where I’m really focused on figuring out paperwork and stuff out now, so now I’m just trolling people at this point. But yeah album done, I’m ready to drop this one and drop another one. I’m just grateful that my fans still waited this long, cause I’d be pissed.”
Everythings For Sale, Boogie’s debut album, was released in 2019 via Shady and Interscope. In its first week, the album debuted at number 28 on the Billboard 200 and number 18 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, selling 18,397 album-equivalent units.
