Eminem & Snoop Dogg rocks the MTV VMAs stage with the “From The D 2 The LBC” live performance.
The 2022 MTV VMAs kicked off earlier tonight at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, which was headlined by Nicki Minaj, Jack Harlow and legendary LL Cool J.
As announced previously, the star-studded annual award show also featured the return of Eminem, who teamed up with Snoop Dogg for a live performance of their collab “From The D 2 The LBC”. Just like the official video, the performance was also a Bored Ape NFT-inspired effort, which starts with the duo performing from a Sofa, then turning up onto the stage at the end.

“I always got that bomb weed, that’s why I feel a calm breeze / Every time I palm trees (Get it?) just like that blonde bleach / I reached platinum and so did my album, Calvin’s turning me into a zombie / ‘Cause these buds are like the Hulk, they’re twice the size that his arms be,” raps Eminem.
The rappers appeared to be under the drug when they were teleported to a metaverse form of their performance, identical to the the song’s music video. The audience witnessed animated versions of the rappers performing in the metaverse as they played the first part of the song live.
“Yo Slim, wake up,” Snoop Dogg said midway during Eminem’s performance. “We got a show to do.” Up on the stage, the rappers completed the song’s conclusion. Snoop Dogg rocked a huge fur coat, while Eminem wore his usual all-black ensemble with a black ball cap.

The song was also nominated for Best Hip-Hop, which was won by Nicki Minaj and Lil Baby’s “Do We Have A Problem?“. The other nominees in the same category are Future, Drake & Tems “Wait For U“, Kendrick Lamar’s “N95“, Latto’s “Big Energy“ and Pusha T’s “Diet Coke”.
