Eminem’s “The Eminem Show” surpassed a huge milestone on Spotify.
Another day another new accolade for Eminem. The Detroit Rapper’s fourth studio album “The Eminem Show” has now surpassed 4 billion views on Spotify. According to Chart Data, it is the first album from the 2000s to reach this historic milestone.
The album was released in 2002 through Aftermath Entertainment, Shady Records, and Interscope Records. The album is one of the top works of Eminem’s career and it includes commercially successful singles like “Without Me”, “Superman”, “Cleanin’ Out My Closet”, and “Sing for the Moment”.

It won the Grammy Award at 2003 Grammys for Best Rap Album as it was the best-selling album of 2002 in the US with over 7.6 million copy sales and it topped the charts in 19 countries which include the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. The 20 track album became certified Diamond on March 7, 2011, making it his second album to receive that award after his third studio album ‘The Marshall Mathers LP’. On May 26th, the album will turn 20 years old.
Last year, the album surpassed 11 million pure copy sales and made Eminem the first artist to have two albums with this milestone in the Nielsen era.
