SZA’s new project “S.O.S.” dropping next week.
SZA is all set to make her long-awaited return as she recently announced her next studio album “S.O.S.”. After unveiling the official artwork a few days ago, the TDE star has revealed the release date for the project. She shared a new clip on her social media and announced that the album will drop next week on December 9th. “Different,” wrote Drake in the comment section.
This will be her second studio effort, a follow-up to 2017’s classic debut “Ctrl” through Top Dawg Entertainment. Just recently, SZA released a new single titled “Shirt“ which debuted at #11 on Billboard Hot 100.
SZA’s upcoming album, S.O.S., will be her first since Ctrl, which catapulted her into iconic status in 2016. SZA claims that she doesn’t envision herself “chasing after superstardom” for very long, regardless her accomplishments in the industry. “I feel like music, in this capacity, I don’t see longevity,” she says to Billboard. “I like to create, I like to write, I like to sing, and I like to share. But I don’t know if chasing after superstardom or whatever I’m supposed to be doing right now is sustainable for me or for anybody. I’ma take a good swing at it, and I’ma give ’em my absolute best.”
