Drake, Kendrick Lamar & Eminem dominates most streamed rap albums on Spotify in 2022.
Spotify Wrapped 2022 is here, and the platform has unveiled several lists of top artists, songs, albums and more. Bad Bunny is the most streamed artist globally, and also topped the list of most streamed albums with “Un Verano Sin Ti”.
Spotify has also revealed the top streamed hip-hop projects worldwide, and Drake dominates with three projects in the top 10. Drizzy’s last year’s “Certified Lover Boy” is the most streamed rap album in 2022. He also holds the fourth spot with his recent “Honestly, Nevermind“, and the number 10 spot with his 2018’s fifth studio album “Scorpion“.

Kendrick Lamar is ranked number 2 with his comeback fifth studio album “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers“, and also holds the number 7th spot with his previous 2017’s album “DAMN.“.
The most impressive on the list is Eminem, whose two 20-year-old albums are among the top streamed rap albums in 2022. The Detroit rapper’s 2002’s fourth studio album “The Eminem Show” is the third most streamed hip-hop project on Spotify in 2022, while his 2000’s effort “The Marshall Mathers LP” is number 8.
Now let that simmer: Two of this year’s top 10 most listened records were published in the which was before the era of streaming by the rapper, who decided to celebrate his 50th birthday – in the same year, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. That is the very idea of endurance.
