Snoop Dogg announces features for the upcoming album “Back On Death Row”.
Snoop Dogg has been giving us more music than ever, as the rapper is prepping the release of another new album titled “B.O.D.R.”, which means “Back On Death Row”. This is a follows up to his last year’s star-studded compilation album “Algorithm“, which featured Fabolous, Dave East, YK Osiris, Blxst, October London, Ty Dolla Sign, Wiz Khalifa, Jadakiss and more.
Now the Long Beach legend will drop his next album on February 13th, and he got some huge features for the project. The album will feature 18 tracks, and contributions from The Game, DaBaby, Nas, Hit-Boy, DJ Battle Cat, and more.
The project will drop on the same day when Snoop Dogg will join Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J. Blige for a historical hip-hop spectacle at the NFL Superbowl halftime show.
Snoop recently stated his desire to be an executive at Death Row, which has changed ownership several times since Knight lost it in bankruptcy 15 years ago. Snoop created Doggystyle Records in the mid-1990s, named after his legendary Death Row debut from 1993. There, he frequently collaborated with previous Death Row associates like as Nate Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound, The Lady Of Rage, Bad Azz, Tray Deee, Mac Shawn, and many more. Tha Doggfather is now consulting for Def Jam. In November, he disclosed that he signed Benny The Butcher to a major label solo contract.
In collaboration with Gala Games, the blockchain gaming platform, he is also releasing a new album called B.O.D.R., which stands for “Back on Death Row.” That firm stated today that its newly formed branch, Gala Music, will feature three additional tracks from B.O.D.R., and as part of the launch, Snoop will release a “Stash Box” of NFTs on the new Gala Music shop on Feb. 9 at 4:20 p.m. PT.
According to today’s announcement, 25,000 Snoop Stash Boxes will be sold for $5,000 and will only be accessible in Gala. Each box is reported to contain one of 17 B.O.D.R. track NFTs, with 1,470 NFTs of each song available.
