Rod Wave Unveils Tracklist For New Album Beautiful Mind

Rod Wave shared the “Beautiful Mind” tracklist.

Rod Wave is all set to drop his delayed album “Beautiful Mind” tomorrow at midnight on August 12th, and today the rapper unveiled the official tracklist. The project will have 24 tracks with recently released singles “Stone Rolling” & “Alone“.

In his most recent song, “Alone,” Rod Wave reflects on all the challenging times that make love worthwhile.

In the music video that goes along with the song, Rod Wave assumes the role of the narrator and begins to tell the tale of two lovers who became lost because one of them failed to recognize his possessions until they were gone. The rapper from St. Petersburg acted as the video’s director, with the main character in it suffering from a horrific catastrophe and hoping he might go to the past and do it all over again in the proper way.

The album will feature a couple of guest appearances, from Jack Harlow on “Yungen” and December Joy on “Quiet Storm”. The other solo tracks include “Never Get Over Me”, “Sweet Little Lies”, “Married Next Year”, “Rockstar Heart”, “Me vs. The World” and more.

The album will be his fourth studio effort, and a follow-up to last year’s “SoulFly“. The album featured Kodak Black & Lil Durk, and it debuted at number one on US Billboard 200 with 130,000 album-equivalent units.

Rod’s “SoulFly” album, his last project, was released in April 2021. That became his first top album and debuted at number one in the US. Later, in August, Rod released the deluxe edition. He has put out all four of his studio albums since 2019, which shows how consistent he has been over this period.

Meanwhile, with only one appearance from Jack Harlow, there aren’t many other huge names on Rod Wave’s record to get fans excited, but Jack Harlow may be the only name he needs. The Louisville rapper has been on a roll recently, earning seven MTV Video Music Awards nominations (matching Kendrick Lamar for the most this year) and prepping for his feature debut in White Men Can’t Jump.
