The projected first-week numbers for NBA Youngboy’s “The Last Slimeto” and Eminem’s “Curtain Call 2” are here. The Baton Rouge rapper’s last project from Atlantic Records is fighting for the number 1 spot on Billboard 200 as it is expected to sell around 102k equivalent units in the first week. Beyonce, who debuted at the top of the Billboard chart this week with her new album “Renaissance“, will be dropped to the #3 spot with 90k second-week album sales. The new album topped the charts with 332k album-equivalent units in the first week.
Eminem’s second greatest hits album “Curtain Call 2″ will earn him a top 5 spot with 44k equivalent units in the first week. The double disc 35-track album featured Detroit rapper’s greatest hits from 2009, which includes collaborations with Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Ed Sheeran, Beyonce, Joyner Lucas, Royce da 5’9”, Kehlani, Juice WRLD, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre and more.
On the day of release, Eminem’s double disc received more Spotify streams—13 million—than any other hip-hop project that Friday. Em wasn’t the only one preventing YoungBoy from reaching the top, either. YoungBoy drops to No. 3 as Calvin Harris’ joint effort with the multitude of hip-hop talents has the second-most streamed debut of the day.
