NBA Youngboy Advices Not To Sign With Atlantic Records As He Returns To Instagram

NBA Youngboy returns to Instagram to give a message.

Last month, it was revealed that NBA Youngboy is taking a break from Social Media and leaving the platforms for around 6 months. However, the rapper now makes his early return for a message for all the up and coming artists. “Don’t sign to Atlantic,” he wrote in his first post.

Earlier this month, the Baton Rouge rapper accused the label of trying to blackball him. “I was going #1 two weeks straight with a mixtape so they took it down off the charts I don’t give a f**k you still can’t stop me,” reads the screenshot on his youtube’s community post. “Don’t sign to atlantic if you artist they not gone support you especially if you live a certain way.” In the caption of the post, the rapper said, “Why black ball me I’m the good guy.”

YoungBoy also discussed being taken advantage of as an artist. “I think as you…you learn how badly you’ve been taken advantage of,” he said. “I never got paid for YouTube a day in my life. Ni#*as make all the money off my YouTube, and then give me a small percentage of my sh*t. All that sh*t slavery or something. But you know, that’s what we signed up for in this business.”

Youngboy Never Broke Again recently dropped his brand new project “Colors” which debuted at #2 on Billboard 200, after moving 79,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. It was his 20th project to enter the Billboard 200, and he is closing in on E-40, who has the most, 32 entries on the US chart as a solo rapper.
