Kanye West pulls out of Rolling Loud Miami 2022.
We’re just a few days away from the highly anticipated Rolling Loud Miami, which was scheduled to be headlined by Kanye West, Future, and Kendrick Lamar. However, the Donda rapper has now pulled out of the event without any explanation. Rolling Loud has revealed that Kid Cudi will now be performing as headliner on July 22nd.
“We were looking forward to Ye headlining Rolling Loud Miami 2022,” Rolling Loud co-founders Tariq Cherif and Matt Zingler said in a statement. “We spent months working with him and his team on the performance. Unfortunately, Ye has decided that he will no longer be performing. This is the first time a headliner has ever pulled off our show and though we don’t take it lightly, we wish him the best. We look forward to welcoming Kid Cudi as a headliner in Miami and we can’t wait to see what he has in store.”

The three-day event will take place from 22-24 July at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. The other performers at the festival include Playboi Carti, Lil Durk, 2 Chainz, Don Toliver, Saweetie, Fivio Foreign, Lil Uzi Vert, Gunna, DaBaby, Gucci Mane, Kodak Black, Lil Baby, Baby Keem, Moneybagg Yo, City Girls and more.
Earlier this year, Ye was also named as a headliner for Coachella 2022, but dropped out of the event and was replaced by Swedish House Mafia & The Weeknd.
Ye finally returned to the stage earlier this month in Los Angeles, making a surprise appearance during The Game’s headlining performance as he promoted his new album, Drillmatic: Heart vs. Mind. Ye performed for the first time in over five months on stage, and “Eazy,” a blistering song he and The Game released in January, had its live premiere.
