Kanye West Files DONDA Name Trademark For Tech Business

Kanye West is expanding his empire with the “DONDA” tech line.

After a legendary career as a rapper/producer, and his popular shoes line Yeezy, Kanye West is now looking to invest in the tech business and expand his empire. According to TMZ, Kanye West’s company filed for a trademark on the name “DONDA” to use it for a series of tech line products. We can expect a tech line with the “DONDA” name, which will include speakers, tabs, smartwatches, computers, and more. Taking inspiration from Dr. Dre’s “Beats By Dre”, Kanye West may also release Headphones after his late mother’s name.

A few months ago, it was also reported that Kanye West also filed a trademark application for his own name, to use them on home line products. Towels, blankets, placemats, textile wall hangings, shower curtains, and other items will be included in the collection.

Donda is also the title of Kanye West’s tenth studio album, which debuted at number one. In August, the Chicago native revealed his first album-related tech device: a Donda stem player that let fans make their own mixes from the record.

The Hip-Hop mogul reportedly became the wealthiest artist in the music industry, after his net worth jumped to $6.6 Billion in March. Kanye West’s Yeezy collab with Adidas was reported to be worth around $3.2 to $4.7 Billion. The collaboration not only includes the popular shoe line but a clothing line as well.

Kanye recently dropped his brand new album “DONDA“, after his late mother name, which debuted at #1 on Billboard 200.
