Kanye West and Drake join forces for the “Free Larry Hoover” event in LA.

As announced, Drake and Kanye West teamed up for an incredible “Free Larry Hoover” concert, which took place at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The duo recently ended their feud with some help from J. Prince. The two Hip-Hop icons headlined the event in front of a crowd of over 70,000 fans. The show was live-streamed in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide, including a stream on Amazon Prime.

Ye kicked off the with some of his old classics like “Jesus Walks”, “All of the Lights”, “Good Life”, “Touch the Sky”, “Stronger”, “All Falls Down” and more. Kanye West also covered Drake’s “Find Your Lover”, followed by My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy song “Runaway” in which he mentions his estranged wife Kim Kardashian.

The Toronto rap star performed some of his recent hits, like “Life is Good”, “Way 2 Sexy”, “Girls Want Girls”, “Laugh Now Cry Later”, “Knife Talk”, and “God’s Plan”. Drizzy also covered Kanye West’s “Donda” track “24”.

J. Prince, a.k.a. James Prince, was key in bringing Yeezy and Drizzy’s years-long dispute to an end. “We have to start with the name Larry Hoover. He planted the seed,” J. Prince told Billboard. “He wanted to see Kanye and Drake come together in the name of peace. His son Larry Jr. was hanging out with Kanye a lot, and of course, Drake is my son, but [Hoover] planted the seed, and I watered it.”

The duo also joined forces for a performance of their 2009 collaboration “Forever”, which also featured Eminem and Lil Wayne.
