Is Detox coming out during the 2022 NFL Super Bowl Halftime show?
Dr. Dre has taken the remarkable decision to include two deaf rappers in this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show. On Sunday, Sean Forbes and Warren “WaWa” Snipe will perform with Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar. It is the first time in the halftime shows more than 50-year history that sign language interpreters would be present, while interpreters have typically been present for the pre-game.
But more importantly, Dr. Dre will be in focus because of the rumoured release of his long-time due to album “Detox”.
It won’t be enough to party with Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and the good doctor during the Roc Nation-fueled halftime show. It appears like Dr. Dre is set to release a new album!
Dr. Dre had a brain aneurysm in January while divorcing Nicole Young, but he was back in the studio as soon as he was released. Dem Jointz, an Aftermath associate and producer, threw the practically mythological Detox album in the faces of fans via an Instagram post at the time. “And we back! #Detox21,” read the caption on a photo depicting Dre, The D.O.C., and others standing in front of a mixing board.
Dr. Dre has since invited other luminaries to his studio to hear new music, including Grandmaster Flash, Xzibit, and Diamond D of the D.I.T.C.

Storch announced Dr. Dre’s highly awaited album, Detox, in an interview with Power 106’s “The Cruz Show.” “I think it’s gonna happen man,” he says “matter of fact, I know that it’s gonna happen.” He continues commenting on why he believes the release has been taking so long, “That’s the D.R.E. He’s a perfectionist,” he says. “You waited ten years last time. Dre he be killing it. More to come from him for sure.”

We’ve been hoping for some new Dr. Dre music for a long time! We hope that the all-star cast will be involved in the production as well. You already know that the music industry is no longer what it once was. In addition, record companies now have authority over multiple digital service providers. This endeavour allows him to bypass the middlemen and reach out directly to the public. By the way, earlier this year, there were reports that he was working on Detox. Do you suppose all those photos in the studio were just for fun?

Within the last decade, detox has become somewhat of a cautionary tale. Despite the release of two songs, “Kush” with Snoop Dogg and “I Need A Doctor” with Eminem, fans have continued to wait for the whole album to be released.
However, the Superbowl Halftime Show is the biggest chance Dr. Dre has of releasing the decade-awaited record at that time.
