Ice Cube Left $9M Film Role After Refusing To Get Covid Vaccine

Ice Cube walks out of a movie role over Covid Vaccine.

Ice Cube joins the list of celebrities who don’t trust Covid Vaccines. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the legendary Ice Cube has left Sony’s upcoming comedy film “Oh Hell No” after he was requested to get vaccinated, which he declined. The West Coast rapper would’ve starred alongside Jack Black on the Matt Tolmach and Black produced the film.

Ice Cube signed the film with Jack Black in June, and they were looking to shoot the movie this winter in Hawaii with Kitao Sakurai, the filmmaker behind Netflix’s breakout comedy Bad Trip. The film pushed back in June after Jack Black was injured while filming a gag for the last episode of Conan. According to reports, the film creators are now looking for Ice Cube’s replacement for a $9 million role.

Ice Cube had been taking the Covid Pandemic very seriously, as he previously donated masks and other safety equipment to Bacone College in Oklahoma. Last year, he even released “Check Yo Self Before You Wreck Yo Self” t-shirts to help raise funds for frontline healthcare workers.

In a tweet published in June 2020, Ice Cube wrote: “Doctors of the world: Stop lying about the Coronavirus. The people need absolute TRUTH.” Despite his statement, the rapper has been seen wearing masks at public events in recent months, and he has previously expressed support for mask-wearing on his Twitter account.
