Hit-Boy responds to a question about Collaboration with Eminem.
Over the year, Hit-Boy has proved that he’s one of the top producers in the game and recently gave three back to back projects with the legendary Nas. While he earned a Grammy for the first one “King’s Disease” album, the sequel is also nominated for the upcoming Grammy event. The duo recently dropped the collab project called “Magic“. He also produced the entire Big Sean’s independent project “What You Expect“.
Now one of the fans asked him if he ever gonna collab with Eminem, and the 34-year-old reminds us about the songs on which he already produced for the Detroit rapper. The first one was the classic Lil Wayne and Eminem collaboration “Drop The World” which dropped way back in 2009. Recently, he also worked with the “Lose Yourself” rapper through Big Sean’s “Friday Night Cypher“, and the recent Nas collab “EPMD 2“.
The album earned a lot of positive reviews from reviewers, who appreciated its narrative development and unified sound as well as the featured verses from Lauryn Hill and Eminem. The album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album at the 64th Grammy Awards, but Tyler, the Creator’s Call Me If You Get Lost won.
“Listen to drop the world by him and Wayne, big Sean cypher and nas EPMD2 he dropped a few classic verses on some of my beats @eminem,” he wrote. A few years back, Hit-Boy also worked with Eminem on the “Revival”, as he co-produced the Kehlani collaboration “Nowhere Fast“.
Nas and Hit-Boy thank everyone who contributed to the album, notably Eminem, in a new video posted by Grammy-winning producer: “Peace! Me and my brother Hit-Boy, we wanna thank you all man. Shady too! Escobar season!”
