Drake shows support for Adele’s come back single “Easy On Me”.
Earlier this week, Adele made the announcement regarding her long-awaited new project. The talented singer revealed that her new album is titled “30” and will be out for everyone on November 19th. And last night, Adele has released her come back single titled “Easy On Me“, which is the first off her upcoming highly anticipated album.
Drake also decided to show some support for her good friend Adele, as he wrote a sweet message for her on his IG story. “One of my best friends in the world just dropped a single,” the Toronto Rap star wrote while tagging Adele with a few heart emojis.
The two often show support for each other, as in a live stream recently Adele said that Drizzy’s “Certified Lover Boy” is her favourite of 2021. Drake’s latest album CLB debuted at #1 on Billboard 200 with the highest first-week sales of this year. It also stayed at the top for straight three weeks.
Adele’s past three albums, 19, 21, and 25, have all charted in the top five on the Billboard 200, with the last two reaching the top spot. Her most recent album, 25, lasted a record ten weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, earning her the Grammy for album of the year after selling 3.38 million copies in its first week, the most for an album since MRC Data began collecting point-of-sale purchases in 1991.
