Drake achieves another Billboard 200 #1 with “Honestly, Nevermind”.

The surprise album which was dropped on June 17, has given Drizzy his 11th #1 spot on US Billboard Charts. “Honestly, Nevermind” featured 14 tracks, with a lone guest appearance from 21 Savage on “Jimmy Cooks.” The album became the biggest dance album in Apple Music history, breaking the record for first-day streams worldwide.

The Toronto rap stars’ new project moved 204,000 equivalent album units, in the week ending June 23. The Album’s SEA units comprise 191,000 (equaling 250.23 million on-demand official streams of the set’s tracks), album sales comprise 11,000 and TEA units comprise 2,000.

The project was streamed 213.9m times in its opening week on the music streaming platform Spotify. It now becomes the biggest ever opening week for a dance album, and the Toronto rap star’s 4th biggest opening week and the 31st biggest opening ever.

With 14 tracks “Sincerely, Nevermind” debuts with the fourth-highest streaming week for an album in 2022, with 250.23 million official on-demand streams. Notably, the three biggest weeks this year were all achieved by albums with extended tracklists (all in their first weeks): I Never Liked You by Future, Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, and Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti (356.55 million from 23 songs) (283.75 million; 22 tracks).

Drizzy now has the most #1 albums on the Billboard 200 among artists debuting this century, as he breaks a tie with Taylor Swift and Kanye West. He also becomes the fifth act with more than 10 No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200. He joins The Beatles (who lead with a record 19 No. 1s), Jay-Z (14), Bruce Springsteen and Barbra Streisand (each with 11).
