Charlamagne Tha God Calls J. Cole & Tyler, The Creator's Albums Best of 2021

Charlamagne Tha God names best albums of 2021, and it’s not Drake or Kanye West.

Today (22 September), Cole released with fans a surprise “Heaven’s EP,” a tune that came to Drake’s “Pipe Down.” Charlamagne voiced his thoughts during The Breakfast Club, and Dreamville’s lead honcho takes the place of AOTY. It’s only the quarter of 2021 remains and the debate for the best Hip Hop albums of 2021 continues. While most people are discussing the latest Drake and Kanye West’s albums, Charlamagne Tha God has already given his names of the best projects of 2021. Charlamagne names J. Cole’s album “The Off-Season” the best of 2021, calling it better than “Certified Lover Boy” and “DONDA“. Along with Cole, the Breakfast Club host also crowns the latest album of Tyler, The Creator.

J. Cole album is better than both CLB and DONDA, just want to throw that out there since we having discussions about Rap,” said Charlamagne. “People forgot about J. Cole’s album, I’m not gonna say they forgot about it ’cause it’s the highest-selling Rap album of the year, right? Or is it still Moneybagg Yo? No, it’s gotta be Drake. But Cole album came out earlier this year. Cole and Tyler, The Creator put out the best Rap albums of the year. To me, personally. I love albums of other artists, but Tyler and Cole put out the best Rap projects.

Charlemagne continued, “Tyler and Cole have launched the greatest Rap ventures this year, which is deserving of commendation.” Tyler’s “Call Me If You Get Lost” was like “Donda” and “Certified Lover Boy”, both of Cole’s “The off-season.” Fanbases argue that therefore let’s know what record you think the AOTY title should be awarded.

All these albums debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, but Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” had the biggest week of this year as he moved over 600k copies in the first week. Yesterday, J. Cole also dropped a new track called “Heaven’s EP“, which is over Drake’s “Pipe Down” instrumental.
