Eminem, Jay-Z to appear in new Big Daddy Kane’s upcoming Netflix documentary “Paragraphs I Manifest”.
Back in February, the legendary Big Daddy Kane had the internet talking after he posted a picture with Eminem, where the duo was in a studio. The post started speculations on collaboration from the duo, but Big Daddy Kane revealed that it was for an interview. Ever since there were no updates regarding the conversation, but today Big Daddy revealed that he interviewed the Detroit rapper for an upcoming Netflix Documentary “Paragraphs I Manifest.”

Fresh,” he said. “I even got some of the battle rappers like Goodz Da Animal and Aye Verb, so it’s coming out real good. I’m supposed to do Common on Monday.”

Back in April, Daddy Kane sat down with Talib Kweli for an interview where he talked about meeting Eminem and his influence on the Detroit legend. “Honestly, I didn’t recognize it until I spoke to Proof. Rest in peace, Proof,” says Big Daddy Kane. “Eminem has a unique style, but I didn’t really see how it resembled mine. If anything, flow-wise, it resembled more Busta. That’s just my opinion. We did that interview [with Eminem] just recently. He was talking to me about my rhymes, then I was sitting there like, “Okay, okay, I get it now”. But I mean, Em is a beautiful rubber man. Because nothing goes over his head, man. He’s a student of the game who studies it like a scientist. Pouring little drops and stuff… He studies it thoroughly. It was a good conversation we had. He is real deep into hip hop.”
The Long Live will be held in September. J. Cole will appear in the documentary with JAY-Z, Eminem, Common, Doug E. Fresh, and KRS-One, according to the Kane MC. Kane posted an Instagram video of himself discussing Cole’s influence on Hip Hop culture and why he is so vital. “A lot of people out there right now are coming to people such as myself and many others, giving us our flowers and whatnot while we’re still here,” he said at the time. “But listen – I wanna give this young brother right here his flowers like on the real.”

In an interview BET Awards 2023, Kane revealed that Eminem’s rap knowledge surprised him. “Yeah. The interview with Eminem was very very intense. He mentioned some things that I guess I never really paid attention to or even thought about,” he revealed. “Like, I had to really sit and say ‘you sure that I’m the first person who did that? Hold on, let me double check.’ He mentioned some things that I never really thought about it or I even paid attention to. You will see these things in the documentary.”
“Honestly, the first time I heard Eminem was Slim Shady,” he continued. “And then Somebody else played something that he was on before and let me hear. I was like ‘yo, he is nice… he’s nice and he’s funny.’ And then when I heard him get real super lyrical, I was like ‘oh, nah, this dude is a problem. he’s dope.’”
