Beyonce officially announces her new album “RENAISSANCE”.

Beyonce recently removed her profile pictures from all her social media accounts and started speculations on a new project announcement. She has updated her IG bio to “act i RENAISSANCE”, and Apple Music and Spotify handles also shares the album announcement, and it will be dropping next month on July 29th. The project reportedly features 16 tracks.

The fans noticed that the 40-year-old already teased the album title a year ago in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar. “I feel a Renaissance Emerging,” she said.

This will be Beyonce’s seventh studio album, and first since 2016’s “Lemonade“. The 12-track album featured guest appearances from James Blake, Kendrick Lamar, the Weeknd and more. The project topped US Billboard 200 as it moved 653,000 with additional album-equivalent units, including 485,000 copies in its first week of sales. She also won Best Urban Contemporary Album and Best Music Video at 59th Annual Grammy Awards in 2017.

Tidal, Beyonce’s husband Jay-firm, Z’s also revealed the news, although it will not be carrying the album as an exclusive. Lemonade, on the other hand, was a three-year Tidal exclusive. Everything Is Love, Beyonce’s joint album with Jay-Z, was only available for two days in 2018.

The two have now broken up, an acknowledgment that the streaming service, which has a 2% market share, cannot produce the numbers Beyonce requires to rule the charts.

According to a listing on Apple Music, Renaissance will have 16 tracks. It’s unclear whether “Act I refers to the initial instalment of a multi-album project or whether the 16 tracks will be published in instalments.
