The record-breaking Dr. Dre produced album, sold over 1.78 million in the US in its debut week, which is still a record in Hip-Hop as no other rapper was able to surpass it. And how the streaming platforms changed the music industry, it is likely that this record will stan still forever.

The album also had the 4th highest sales in the first week in all genres. The 19 track album become certified Diamond in March 2011 for selling 10 million copies in the US and by December 2016, the project had sold over 11 million copies in the US and more than 32 million copies worldwide. Eminem also released the sequel to the album, ‘The Marshall Mathers LP 2‘ on November 5, 2013. The sequel also won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.
