Martha Stewart talks about wanting Eminem on her show.
The famous tv celebrity Martha Stewart aka Lifestyle Guru, who’s known for her famous ‘The Daily Show‘, recently sat down with People Magazine for a new interview where she opened up about her famous pool selfie, her time in prison, her love for rap music and much more. In the interview she also claimed that she had a lot of rappers lined up for her “The Daily Show,” but only one refused to show up.
Talking about her bond with rap music, Martha says, “Rap had always interested me. That kind of poetry really resonates with me, I listen to the words, although some of them might be pretty hard to take. Early on I started inviting rappers to my daily show. I had Snoop, P. Diddy, and Usher.”
Stewart also said she’s not good at everything. “I can’t pick up a guitar and play a fantastic song. … I cannot sit down at a piano and do that,” she said. “I’m happy about my knowledge in so many different subjects relating to living, but in terms of specifics, I don’t know if I’d be really very good on ‘The Young and the Restless’.”
Martha has expressed interest in having Eminem on the “Martha” television show. Not because he can knit or bake brownies, but because his music is well-liked by her audience.
But there’s one rapper, who she wanted on her show, but it never happened. “The only one that wouldn’t come was Eminem,” she reveals. “I still have not met Eminem, and that is just ridiculous.”
