Joe Budden Tells J. Cole To Stay Away From Street Rappers: "I Don't Want To Hear It"

Joe Budden says J. Cole ruined Lil Durk and Gucci Mane.

Joe Budden is not happy with J. Cole collaborating with street rappers, as he’s ruining their creativity with positive songs. During the recent episode of his Joe Budden Podcast, the rapper turned podcaster sends a message to the Dreamville boss, and asks him to stay in his own lane.

“Jearmaine Cole. Please, you my man, I love you. Stay away from our current hardcore rappers. They’re never same after you leave,” rants Budden. “I liked the Durk project before y’all went and rounded all little bad a-s kids. Ni–a, move with that positive sh-t. I don’t want to hear it. J. Cole come and now we got to do gospel at the Apollo and now the hard ni–as have nightmares about positive Coland they can’t f–king kill properly. Stay away from Gucci, Durk, and all them street ni–as. No J. Cole. He’s stifling the street ni–as creativity.”

Just recently, Cole assisted Lil Durk on the song titled “All My Life“, which was one of the fan favorite from his new album “Almost Healed”. Jermaine also collaborated with Gucci Mane and Mike WiLL Made-It for the track titled “There I Go“.

In related news, Budden also trashed Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s new collab “Bongos”. “The hook is not hookin’ for me. There’s nothin’ in it to make it stay, one. And two… this commercialized ratchet has passed, it’s ghetto ratchet time,” he said during his podcast. “And neither one of them are ghetto ratchet on this song. We need a “Bodak Yellow” now. This sounds like two women who can’t make a song.”
