Eminem says performing at Super Bowl is “f**king Never-Wracking”.
The 2022 NFL Super-Bowl LVI is taking place on this Sunday at the SoFI Stadium in Inglewood, California, and this year’s halftime show will be headlined by hip-hop greats, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and Snoop Dogg.
Before the show, the Detroit rapper decided to appear in a new interview with Sway Calloway on SiriusXM’s Shade45. In the short interview, Shady reveals that he’s nervous about the performance, which will be watched live by millions of people.
“Imma tell you, It’s f#*king nerve-wracking. It’s f#*king nerve-wracking,” Em told Sway. “Like to me… there’s nothing more final than live TV, you know what I’m saying? So like if you f#*k up, that f#*k up is there forever.”
“When Dre first asked, when the whole thing started going down, we were like okay this might be actually serious,” he said. “I was trying to vision what Dre might do. I was like all of us gonna rap together right, and that kind of thing but I didn’t expect it to be, like the production to be like this. I was kind of blown away when the first time I’ve seen it, I haven’t seen it till the first rehearsal, like I didn’t really know… like once you see it, this is different.”

The rapper also gives props to previous Super Bowl headliners, including Beyonce. “Beyonce f**kin destroyed that sh*t. Prince… You know what’s crazy, I can’t remember the Superbowls unless somebody tells me. We’re trying to [kill it], of course, we’re trying to, I mean, I just hope we all remember our lyrics and don’t f**k it up”.
Snoop Dogg, Eminem’s fellow performer, was accused of se#ual assault and abuse by an alleged former employee three days before the Super Bowl. The complaint was made on Wednesday, February 9 by an unidentified lady. She is suing for money to “redress the harms” she claims she experienced.
