Eminem Appears on Young M.A's New Show Me Always Radio as First Guest

Young M.A Interviews Eminem.

Young M.A started her new show ‘Me Always Radio‘ on Apple Music and her first guest is none other than Eminem. In a short session, the duo who collaborated on ‘Unaccomodating‘ earlier this year, talked about how they respect each other’s music. The first verse of the album’s second track is performed by Young M.A. Mike Strange recorded the recordings at Effigy Studios in Detroit. Tim Suby oversaw production, with Eminem contributing new material. Despite never being issued as a single, the song has charted globally. Young M.A. will “get up and personal with fans as she chats about culture and current affairs and, of course, plays her favourite songs” in each installment.

With her quick glides, flirty confidence, and clever and gritty poetry, Young M.A, a Brooklyn native, remains one of hip-hop’s most interesting personalities. The singer meticulously communicated her tale and character—her challenging background, identity problems, and resilient sense of humor—through her first two releases, 2019’s Herstory in the Making and 2020’s Red Flu. But we were still hungry for more. Every other week, the rap powerhouse gets up close and personal with listeners on Me Always Radio (her stage name means for “Me Always”), where she discusses culture and current issues while also playing her favorite songs.

Marshall chose Young M.A. for “Unaccommodating” because she impressed him with her persona and exceptional abilities, according to Marshall. The lyrics of Eminem’s song “Unaccomodating,” in which he references the 2017 Manchester Arena bombing, garnered widespread condemnation, with many reviewers considering the lyrics offensive. Manchester’s mayor slammed the song’s lyrics, calling it “unnecessarily harsh and highly insulting.” The lyrics garnered considerable condemnation from victims’ families and others engaged in the incident. He was so taken aback by the way she “murdered the flex” that he insisted on her being the opening track on the album.

I just want to definitely just send my appreciation just for allowing me to be on that album (Music To Be Murdered By) as well man. I got so much love so much feedback, I don’t expect that,” says Young M.A.

Absolutely thank you for doing it, “Red Flu” EP is crazy,” says Eminem. “So many lines I can’t even, I’m on my third listen through and I’m still like catching like oh. I was telling Crooked this in the Interview. I was talking about, there’s an art to this sh*t what we do right So when you get your punch lines, however, your writing process is you can always tell somebody who has studied the game and who is a student of it and I told you the first time we talked, your punchlines, there are no setups, or like your setups don’t sound like setups, they sound punchline after punchline. That requires a lot of skill and a lot of thought, your dedication to the craft is unbelievable.

I studied the whole Shady movement. That’s what motivated me and inspired me to be who I am today.” tell Young M.A to Eminem.

Unaccommodating was included on Eminem’s 11th studio album, Music To Be Murdered By, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and sold 279,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. This was Eminem’s tenth number-one album in the United States, making him one of just six artists to have had at least 10 number-one albums. The album’s tracks also received a total of 217.6 million on-demand streams.

Young M.A. has revealed a brand-new endeavour. With production help from NY Bangers, Benjamin Lasnier, and others, it goes by the name Off the Yak and features appearances by Rubi Rose, May Yb, and Wap5tar. Young M.A just released her brand-new song, “Hello Baby,” which was produced by Mike Zombie and includes fellow Brooklyn rapper Fivio Foreign.

M.A. continues by bemoaning the fact that no one is paying attention to the lyrics any longer, claiming that many of her lines are missed because some rap listeners are simply too lazy to examine them. But Em can’t stop complimenting her and adds a statement regarding M.A’s Funkmaster Flex freestyle from September 2019.

M.A goes on to lament the fact nobody is really paying attention to the lyrics anymore and notes so many of her lines are missed because some rap fans are basically too lazy to dissect them. But Em can’t stop praising her and jumps in with a comment about M.A’s September 2019 Funkmaster Flex freestyle.

“On the new one, you got so many lines,” he said. “I’m on my third listen through and I’m still catching s**t — like, ‘Oh!’ I was telling KXNG Crook this in an interview, I was talking about, you know, there’s an art to this s**t we do.”

Like your Flex Freestyle when you was just like, you was just talking and killing it,” Em says. “I was like, ‘God damn!’ I’m so happy for you and all the moves you’re making and the output that you’ve been doing lately is like incredible. The work ethic … yeah, man. I’m a fan and I’m gonna stay a fan. your work output — don’t stop. Every time you drop something, I feel like people put you higher and higher on that list. That’s a beautiful thing.

She responds, “I’m trying to stay in this game forever. To me, anything that come fast don’t last, you know what I mean? I’m playing the game by the ropes. I’m watching, I’m observing, I’m paying attention to what’s next, what’s the next move, and I jump right in. That’s how I play it.

Anything you need, I’m here,” Em says as she signs off. In the inaugural episode of Me Always Radio, MA also interviews Odell Beckham and Fivio Foreign.

Eminem enlists Young M.A on “Unaccommodating” to discuss their unaccommodating attitude, particularly against the media and critics. The rappers’ passionate attitude is similar to Kamikaze, with Eminem name-dropping different contemporary artists while also gloating about his own supremacy by comparing himself to Avengers villain Thanos and extreme political figures.

“Hey man, c’mon man, that’s the goat, he’s in top 5 goat rappers for me.” said Young M.A in interview with SiriusXM. “When my team first told me that Em wants you on his project, I thought they were just playing. I don’t know like, I was like what I am gonna say to Eminem. Then we had a conversation, he was humble as hell man and I was like I am a big fan, I watch you, I rock with you. Then he told me he needs me on his project and asked me to just do my thing.”

Young M.A continues, “He sent me the record before he put his verse on it, then I did my thing, then he recorded his verse, and then we heard it, and I was like Oh My God. I was like I can’t add more to my verse? He reached back and said he loved my verse and it was cool. Just to be on a record with Em is a blessing, he’s the GOAT.”

It’s been over two years since Young M.A last released an album, as she dropped her second studio effort “Off The Yak” in 2021, which followed up 2019’s “Herstory in the Making”.
