DaBaby suggests the new “Better Than You” album is as good as Kanye West & Jay-Z’s “Watch The Throne”.
DaBaby and NBA Youngboy recently joined forces for a brand new collaborative project “Better Than You“, and it is expected to move around 25-30k units in the first week. While the Baton Rouge rapper is still on house arrest, DaBaby is moving around for the promo run. The rapper recently made a visit to SiriusXM for an interview with DJ Whoo Kid.
On the show, the rapper praised his new collab album, and compared it to Jay-Z and Kanye West’s classic “Watch The Throne”. “You talking about music and a body of work? It ain’t been no collab project that’s f**king around with that since… you probably gotta go to, like, Watch The Throne, JAY-Z and Kanye type sh*t,” he said. “Facts. It’s dope as hell, like sonically, everything. Different styles of music that’s on that bi**h. It’s all the way there.”
The rapper recently revealed that it was made in just two days, and the duo got paid $2.5 million for it. “Y’all keep running up that mixtape me & YB made in 2 days & got $2.5 million for that got these ni**as in a Frenzy. Relax [laughing emoji],” he wrote.
