Bobby Shmurda reflects on meeting Eminem at ApeFest 2022.
A couple of months ago, Eminem made a rare surprise appearance at ApeFest 2022 in New York, where the rapper premiered his new Snoop Dogg collaboration titled “From The D To The LBC“.
During the show, Eminem also bumps into a few rappers, including Cordae, Bobby Shmurda, Dave East and more. Shmurda said “big homie,” at Eminem before dapping and hugging the Detroit rapper.
Now in the latest interview with HipHopDX, Shmurda reflects on meeting Eminem for the first time, and then hilariously raps “Real Slim Shady”. “That’s the first time I ever meet Eminem in my life. You know growing up and listening to 50 Cent and Eminem,” he says before rapping the first few lines of Eminem’s classic “Real Slim Shady”.
A video of Eminem and Snoop Dogg performing live at Apefest 2022 in New York City has leaked online. The two rap legends performed their joint hit, “From the D 2 the LBC.” After their performance, Em was making his way backstage when he ran across Cordae, who he immediately recognised and embraced.
