Benzino again calls out Eminem for a battle.
Benzino continues his feud with Eminem as he again calls out the Detroit rapper for a face-to-face battle. Zino recently had an interview with TMZ following ongoing back and forth between Drake, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole and others.
During the conversation, Eminem’s name is again mentioned, to which Zino calls him out for a battle. “At this point, after ‘Rap Elvis,’ I think I can face-to-face battle with him,” Benzino says 2:20 mark. “I’m willing to do so. I’m willing to challenge him right here on TMZ. Face-to-face battle, three rounds. I believe I can take him.”
“Now, when we was battling, I probably wouldn’t have said that 20 years from now,” he added. “But, since then, I’ve mastered my craft and I’m in the best lyrical shape of my life. I’m ready to battle Eminem. And I think that will be great for hip-hop.”
Earlier this year, Benzino fired shots at Eminem with a couple of songs, before having an emotional breakdown at Drink Champs podcast. “I don’t have nothing against Eminem,” he said while crying on the show. “He can rap but I care about us more. I don’t want to talk about it no more. For 22 years, every time I do interviews they ask me about Eminem. The f–k you want me to do? C’mon man. My daughter came to the industry figuring ‘I gotta be cool with Eminem because everybody is against my dad.’ You think this sh-t is f–king cool? Nah man, we are failing as a people. I don’t hate Eminem. I don’t know him to hate him. I don’t hate white people. I’m tired of this sh-t man. It’s just too much. I don’t wanna be the bad guy.”
