50 Cent Shares Insights on Working with Snoop Dogg and Eminem on the Set of ‘BMF’.
50 Cent recently shared his thoughts on what it’s like to work with Snoop Dogg and Eminem on the set of his popular STARZ drama series, BMF. The series, which follows the lives of Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, founders of the Black Mafia Family in Detroit, premiered its second season at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood on Thursday (January 5).
50 Cent, the founder of G-Unit, attended the event and spoke about the different styles and approaches of Snoop Dogg and Eminem on set. He noted that while he considers himself the most intense member of the cast, Snoop Dogg brings a laid-back attitude and often plays music to keep things light. 50 Cent also mentioned his son, Sire Jackson, who was present at the premiere and had a carefree attitude that the rapper admired “On set, I would probably be the most intense,” 50 Cent said in part. “Snoop is so relaxed, it’s like, he’s got the music playing…”
While discussing his experience working with Snoop Dogg and Eminem on the set of his hit STARZ drama series, BMF, 50 Cent imitated Snoop Dogg’s laid-back approach and then commented on his son Sire Jackson’s energetic presence at his side. “See that? I want to be like that when I get here,” Fif said. “He really don’t care we’re here. He don’t care where we are at, he is going to have a good time.”

Although Eminem only appeared in a single episode of BMF as the character “White Boy Rick,” a former teenage drug kingpin from Detroit, Snoop Dogg’s character, Pastor Swift, has become a prominent figure in the series as the Flennory family’s spiritual guide.
In a promotional clip for the second season, Snoop Dogg talked about his excitement to return to the role and expand upon his character’s mentorship and spiritual guidance. “I had a great time on Season 1. Was glad that they gave me the opportunity to come back and reinvent my character, so that’s what it’s about to be. You know, Pastor Swift keeps everything spiritual. You know my counseling and my mentorship is needed.”
It is currently unknown if Eminem will make another appearance in the second season of BMF, but 50 Cent recently announced that he and Eminem are collaborating on an 8 Mile TV series.
“I wanna bring — I’m gonna bring, 8 Mile to television,” 50 Cent said during a recent interview with Big Boy’s Neighborhood. He continued: “We in motion. It’s gonna be big. I’m working. I ain’t got no duds. I’m batting 100 … I think it should be there for [Eminem’s] legacy because it’s important to me that they understand it.”
A recent report from Deadline also announced the development of an animated superhero series called Trill League for BET+ from G-Unit Film & TV, 3 Arts, and Lionsgate Television.
