21 Savage Says He Would've Declined A Feature For Kanye West's DONDA

21 Savage reveals why he would’ve declined an offer for the “DONDA” feature.

The feud between Kanye West and Drake ignited recently during the rollout of their new projects “DONDA” and “Certified Lover Boy“. While most of the artists praised both the rappers and their projects, including Diddy who called them “True Kings of Creativity“, 21 Savage sides with the Toronto rap star.

21 Savage who featured on Drake’s album on the song called “Knife Talk”, claims that he would’ve declined an offer to feature on Kanye West’s latest #1 album. He recently appeared on DJ Akademiks’ “Off The Record” podcast where he gives his take on both the albums. “Post Malone can do a song with whoever the f**k he wants, But me personally, I wouldn’t have wanted to be on Donda if I’m going to be on CLB,” explains 21 Savage. “Me, personally. That’s just the type of ni**a I am.

Then Akademiks reacts and told 21 that he wouldn’t have turned down the offer to work with Kanye West. Then Akademiks co-host said 21 Savage’s kryptonite is loyalty. “I’m talkin’ ’bout when ni**as get smoked behind sh*t, when there’s guns, getting shot and real sh*t,” says 21. “That’s why I said that Donda and CLB sh*t, I was probably exaggerating a little bit but I f**k with Drake so hard… I don’t know.

He also believes no one is now in charge of the rap game “I don’t think nobody really run it,” said 21 Savage t when asked who’s in charge of the game currently. “I think it’s everybody contribute they piece and it just makes it what it is. You damn near can’t drop an album without Lil Baby on it, I think. So I’d say he’s the most featured ni**a. You got everybody who do they own thing, bring they own sounds to it.” As the topic continued, 21 said he doesn’t personally “really think about my status” in the world of hip-hop. “I don’t talk about it,” he said, to which Akademiks suggested, “you wanna get recognition.” 21 replied, “I got it, I just don’t got the internet recognition. I got a Grammy, that’s recognition right? So f**k all that other sh*t, I don’t care about all that other sh*t… I want the money, I don’t care for 13-year-olds saying ‘Savage is No. 1.’
