Usher enlist Keke Parmer for the “Boyfriend” music video.
Following the release of “Good Good” with 21 Savage & Summer Walker earlier this month, Usher is back with another new song titled “Boyfriend”. The song arrives with a music video which stars actor Keke Parmer. The collab arrives after last month’s trending moment when Usher serenaded Keke at his La Vegas residency and was crticized by her boyfriend Darius Jackson.
“Somebody said that your boyfriend’s lookin’ for me / Oh, that’s cool, that’s cool / Well, he should know I’m pretty easy to find / Just look for me wherever he sees you,” Usher sings with assistance from Keke.

Usher’s ninth studio album is set to release later this year, and the first single from the album, “GLU,” has already been unveiled. This marks Usher’s return to the music scene since his confessional single “Bad Habits” reached No. 1 on R&B radio in 2020. Usher hasn’t released a solo studio album in over 7 years, as he last dropped “Hard II Love” in 2016. In 2018, the R&B legend linked up with Zaytoven for a joint album titled “A”.
